This vase is rippled glass with an attached square container clear glass in the back to hold water.  The container has a 1/4 inch hole which is used for hanging.  The vase is especially designed so that when filled with water and flowers it hangs safely on the wall with a small nail.

The vases can also hold silk flowers or dried flowers. Vases can be ordered with laminated silver, or 23k gold designs.

Process: the copper is plated onto the glass, and then patinaed with copper sulphate...the copper sulfate is applied to the copper, and left on until the desired color is obtained, it is washed off, and then sealed with a copper sealer.

The flower vases can be ordered in two  layers of a color, or one layer of clear and one layer of color, copper leaf that has been patinated greenish blue/green, or sealed copper leaf color, cobalt blue, or clear with dichroic tiney bits.

Penny creates clear glass vases that contain laminated copper. The copper Penny uses is a thin greenish layer that is usually copper sulfate. The copper sulfate forms on copper or copper alloys, as a result of corrosion; or a similar sheen usually produced by age and use . A patina may also appear as a sheen that has been added to an object for artistic effect. An item with a patina is described as patinated.
